First, I'd like to see you do more nudes and experiment more with anatomy! Especially with the shading.
Now, I won't critique this piece since you've not requested it, but I do want to say that you're further along and more skillful than I was at your age. I definitely look forward to seeing how your work develops over time

Definitely. You're about where I was at age 19-21. The good thing is that you're improving a bit faster than I was during that time. The real challenge is getting in some solid life drawing. Nothing beats having a live nude model to draw from. I know that isn't possible for you at present, but once you hit college you might consider taking some figure drawing classes and then you can truly experience the heaven and hell of drawing the human figure

I'm probably improving fastish because I've always like..had the ability to draw but I rarely drew.
I had no reason to. So really it's just getting back my ability and most of all learning to take my time with things (I'm bad at that XP). And loosening up. But I think I'm getting better than I've ever been too. I think seeing what other people can do and stuff gives me more drive to get better. Plus the encouragement and critism both helps ^.^. No one ever used to see what I drew unless it was for art class. I'm so glad I joined DA
As for figure drawing I would get so frusterated if I couldn't draw the same as I used too XD
But I know that would help me tons. I'll consider taking one someday if I get the chance.
