Description "You're my sister. Nothing's going to change that."

Haruko insisted that Lesley stopped watching the news for a while but she was tired of being shielded from everything. Her brother was dead... and the world was glad to be rid of him. So many lives had been risked and lost because of her. Her friends learned the truth about her and saw the worst of it. They were safe back in DOG STREET at least and probably wanted nothing to do with her. It was for the best.

Everyone was trying to make her see that she wasn't responsible for Dauragon's actions but she just couldn't see it that way. If she had died on that night in the orphanage all those years ago, a lot of people would still be alive today.

The new CEO of the Mikado Group rested a hand on the frail girl's shoulder. Compared to how long it took for her to regain her voice after the last time she lost it, who knows how long it would be before she would speak again...

Oh the feels...

A shame we can't add preview images to PNG files. I probably shouldnt upload this now but I was on a role drawing it so I added it for those who do not wish to be spoiled. Here is the original PNG image.
After the incident in the Galeos, it took a lot out of Lesley and she had to be bound to a wheelchair for a while. She also fell into a state of depression and became mute once again.

I tried to do a little experiment with the background and used a free clipart site and grabs some bits from it.

The background looks really nice and I like the fact that the news screen is in the background but it's faded out into background noise. Maybe reflecting her depression? Things are there but she can't really process them because of all the trauma she went through. The pose is great but think her expression is what is so terrible because there's no life or animation to it at all. Can easily believe she is mute because she looks as though she has completely given up. That feeling of helplessness because she couldn't prevent any of the terrible things that happened. I love how physically you can see that there is just nothing there. And to a degree how Haruko wants to help her but just really doesn't know what to do. She's there and wants to but just can't. Very potent image.

Thank you! A shame I couldnt use the original PNG here. So nice to see how you've really picked up on the emotional impact of this image, as it was something I really wanted to portray.
