Description Through the gate Josh appeared in the middle of a dark library. The shelves were filled with books and towered high up above his head up to the ceiling. Josh looked around, and walked outside the building. Outside the doorway there was an artificial landscape spread out in front of him, in many locations the ground opened into a gap to reveal a gaping chasm filled with gears and machinery. The sky was filled with dark clouds from exhaust. In the distance there stood a strange tower that he recognized from Thom’s world, and several miles away, obscured from his vision, stood a large hourglass, the sand at the top, a glass slide was in the center, blocking the flow. Back at the steps of the library, he brought out his sword and sprinted to his house in the distance. It was a long journey, and he ran many miles, yet he did not feel very tired, he had done lots of endurance training. Josh decided to tamper with the hourglass for a minute; he adjusted the chokepoint to allow as much sand through as possible, and flipped the switch. The machinery around him was at a standstill, it moved so slowly it didn’t make any noise. The sand flowed from the upper chamber and down to the lower one, and once it ran out of sand, time began to flow like normal. “Ha, I can manipulate the flow of time for myself; that could come in handy” he said to himself. Josh walked into the house and went up to his room. Flicking on his computer, he got a frantic message from Thom on pesterchum.

Josh opened SBURB on his computer and looked into the canyon. A camouflaged tank stood at the bottom, several large monsters stood around it, all wearing thick plate armor. Josh quickly built a circular shield around the turret, and a second hatch above it. After he did, he dropped a small block onto the tank so Thom knows that the turret was ready. As Josh built the ramp to the top, Thom got out onto the turret and filled the air with a rain of bullets. The golems didn’t stand a chance; the ammunition was armor piercing, so they punched through the metal without any difficulty. They burst into large amounts of grist; the ground was quickly covered in it. Thom stepped out of the turret and leaped down on the ground, picking up all of the grist. He then got back into the tank and got onto the main controls. The ramp was complete, and he was able to drive up to the surface. Josh then closed his computer and looked out the window of his room. There were many more libraries of the same style, with no names other than “The land of Libraries and Machinery”. One, however, had a different name; it was called the “Viceroy Bubbles von salamancer memorial library”.  Josh decided to do significant amounts of research when he gets the chance. Josh sighed deeply and sat back in his chair, and slept.
