This is another image that I took at the Industrial Nude Workshop that I attended a little while back.

It was something of a spontaneous shot involving the blue material. As part of the workshop we were allowed to use whatever props were available and I liked the blue coloured material so I decided to use it.

Having never worked with a nude model before I tried a number of things involving the blue material but all the photos that I took, I wasn't happy with.

This photo, as I already said, was a spontaneous pose that the model decided to do herself.

The lesson I learned here: Any model that wants to call themselves a professional will know what to do with what they have. It sometimes pays to let the model be creative too.

This image, as a whole, greatly impressed me when I saw it after the photo shoot. There's something natural in this image (despite the blue fabric) that I can't quite put my finger on.

The other great thing about this photo is that I didn't have to do any post production to this photo. No colour changes have been made, no exposure changes have been made and no cropping have been done to it.

I actually surprised myself with this photo.
