Description Write down your notes,
Ask me questions,
Pretending you care,

That is what you get paid for,
Pretending you care,
Saying I can trust you,
Saying you can help,

Then going telling them,
Every little budge I make with you,
Don't fret though,
I don't care,

You promised me confidentiality,
But don't worry,
I don't mind,

I know you don't care,
I wont give you a hard time,
For playing detective,
Is your job,
Not mine,

I wont act out,
I wont kick and scream,
I will answer you stupid questions,
For you humor me,

Sitting there thinking,
I have no idea what you think,
I have no idea your promises are just..,

Well you know what they are,
So ask me another question,
I will answer with the truth,

But the real question is,
Am I really all that thick,
No,

You should really be asking yourself,
Who is observing whom?

I read this and it set me back a bit. Took me a few moments to collect myself. Very powerful work, if poetry was meant to move people, this has been very effective. Very fine work.

I like it- you write like in a manner that sounds like your thoughts- Paige thoughts that is, in that they are very sarcastic in their honesty.
And it's a good question.
I always like questions at the end of poems- really brings it together.
