This is just a quick sketch I did about 2 months ago, during the fiasco with my Stepdad. I just wanted to get how he made me feel onto paper.

I also just noticed that I wrote a poem on the back of it, it's pretty crap, but here it is:

The nightmares that await me
The hate and the fear
The nigtmares that awake me
To my hate and my fear
The nightmares seem so real
The hate and the fear
The nightmares that never end
The hate and the fear
The life that awaits me
The hate and the fear

It may seem to have little or no relevance to the actual drawing. But you sorta need to know the situation. To summarise it quickly, he beats me, or rather used to, not for a while now. And one time I ended up at the bottom of the stairs because of it. Being involved in domestic violence has always been one of my worst nightmares, to me, it's one of the worst things that you can get involved with. To have to go home, where you live, where you should be happy - and have to be afraid of the people you're living with. And my nightmare has come reality.

So yeah, there's the background info. Enjoy.
