Description
They live in places with snow, but often with a lot of trees so that not all ground is totally covered in snow.
They prefer darker places so their markings and glow and attract more insects or prey.
Often they use their blossoms during the warmest times to attract prey (tarroks, snaaka're and more) to devour enough before the wintersleeps kicks in.
The Blossoms start growing in mid january.
Until the end of march they are in some sort of half asleep/half awake state. They are already able to 'hunt' but they are not very fast.
From november until february they are fully asleep and don't react to much. If someone tries to kill them, they do start to defend themselves slowly
Marking colours can be any brightness as long as it is an orange, red or purple.
the markings itself can look however you want, it is just important that they are easily visible. (they attract bees and insects)
The little flowers/Buds always have two colours one dominant one smaller. They don't open until april/may. In that time they can be eaten and are pretty sweet. as soon as they open, they have fogging effect/ similiar to drugs like opium. Before that they are just super sweet.
They eat mostly animals the size of a tarook or a little bigger.
the inside works like a flesheating plant, so that the tarook for example can't get out and dies slowly.
The spiders use the plant as a host 'cause parts of the hunt always drips into the webs for the spiders and the rapikhoon keeps them safe.
