I've taken a close look at all these 3, this one caught me first when I looked at the thumbnails (and I like it most fullviewed as well).
It is a fresh angle and pose to approach from here, that's what's grabbing at first. The textures of the fabric and treatment give it a very painted quality, which I like. I'm not sure if.. is he wearing pants that's halfway down? I'd have preferred to just see it without the garment. I think the piece at the bottom obstructs the flow of the eye. Last bit, I hope you can do a little treatment to the noise. It may be intentional, but digital noise isn't like film noise, the colour spacing that's off is not as dedicate and not real grains.
I'd also suggest you trying to give it more contrast in the tonality, though I think it is difficult with the file you had to work with from the beginning, a really good one however. Perhaps you can start saving some pictures now and, when you have better equipments in the future, reshoot them similarly and improve.

You are right, I sometimes forget about denosing the pic, but sometimes is just imposible because of the file quality.
I really enjoyed working with this fabric the lights, the texture and tranparency.
he has no pants, he's just siting in a chair that's why it looks flat at the bottom.
