Venice Carnival 2011, my 1st visit to the Serenissima - Those two were the first in Costume I saw, as I was walking from the Vaporetto stop to my holiday flat. Luckily I had the camera hanging round my neck since I had stepped from the plane. I started taking photos and didn't stop for the next 3 days.Related content

Haha, I think this Lady looks a bit classier than Neville's grandmother.
I need to post more Venice shots. I treated myself to a A4 sized photobook a while ago. From Cewe Photobooks. Not the cheapest, but excellent quality.
I took around 600 photos on that first visit to Venice. Not all usable, but with film that would have been impossible - or had cost an absolute fortune.

Haha! You're not going to believe this ... I just popped on here and this happened to come up on my page randomly (I guess because I watch you and it does that sometimes). I thought it was Snape from that scene in HP where he dresses up as Neville's grandmother and comes out of the cupboard when the kids are attending Prof. Lupin's class!!!!

I absolutely adore Venice ... We went there about 10 years ago now - for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary at the time. It's a fabulous place, quite magical in fact.
