Had not really been drawing soo much lately (holidays stresses xD), then I watched a documentary and was sketching lions and hyenas non stop. Finally had to tear myself away in hopes of sleep,............. no such luck. instead I decided to do a very VERY fast animation to tire myslelf out, it worked.There are probably soo many flaws in this, I didn't use a reference. this is purely off the top of my tired head. Under an hour(maybe 2?) of work into the animation itself, sketched in sai, and edited/saved as an animation in photoshop.
Really I am not a pro animator, and have never attended an animation class. I made this half on instinct, and half on what I kinda know about animation (which isnt much except the history of animation, again, I'm very amateur at it.)
I should do more of it.
Oh and lioness doesn't have a tail because I didn't feel like it.

Her back seems a little stiff. Depending on the emotion that you want to convey in the animation. Also She's got a robotic movement. The legs on one side move together when they shouldn't. They should be running on opposite walk cycles. I think that fix alone will help the animation a ton.

Looks pretty good dj, though the lack of feet confuses me lol its hard to see her weight, she looks realpy light. Makes me wanna ru tk my lighboard and pegs and go animate something.

Amazing. ._. The only thing I can notice wrong is the walk; it looks more canine than feline. The paws don't move in the right order. XD (I've been studying walks for years but I still can't do them right myself. x
