Description
So I decided to put a little reediting with my previous Support class Special infected. I pretty much came to a decision that these Special infected needed a bit of TLC. Some had major changes whether it be nerfing or their abilities or changing their appearance dramatically. Love it or hate it I'm standing by it & await what you think.

THE BANSHEE

Gender - Female
Class - Support
Genetic / Biochemical Influence - Emphysema, Hyperinflated lungs
Powers & Abilities - Supersonic screams, Alerting & summoning infected hordes, Healing infected allies (Siren variant)
Distinct Sounds - Hyperventilating gasps, Echoey gasps, Distorted screams.
Other names - Shriekers, Screechers, Loud bitches, My freaky ex-girlfriend.

TLC Patches:
- Banshees no longer fly. In fact she's now armless.
- Banshees are no longer blind.
- They also no longer have their infamous "Death from above" pin.
- Banshees now have a lower jaw that splits enabling them to cry out their shrill screams or as an intimidation posture.
- After filling their lungs with air their attacks are distributed into 2 forms of screams:
1) Radial - Acts as a stun to Survivors. Alerts Infected hordes & also aggravates commons turning them into Wretched.
2) Beam - A focused beam that devastates all that gets caught in the blast. Powerful enough to destroy shields & weaken barricades.
- Banshees are at their weakest when their Throat sac is filled. Once destroyed they emit a shrill sound that instantly kills common / uncommon infected & stuns
other Special leaving them open to Survivor attacks.
- Earplugs are a new equipment used by Survivors to decrease the stun duration time. High Grade Earplugs enable Survivors to become immune to
their screams (Although the still take damage through their beam attacks).
- Banshees now have a sub variant known as the Siren. Modified to resemble mentally challenged patients strapped in with a straightjacket but also mimic the
appearance of the scrapped Special infected, the Screamer. They have the ability to heal common / uncommon infected & resurrect Special Infected with their
screams.

"Test Log #23. Test Subject 7. Female. Round about in her mid to late 20's. Codename: The Banshee. Victims who had suffered severe breathing issues, particularly emphysema. Subject 7 seem to also possess hyperinflated lungs & an enlarged diaphragm. Like most of the next generation Special Infected we have here she also is under the influence of the Evolved Green Flu virus we dubbed as the Green Plague."

"The bizarre physiology of Subject 7 is indeed a conundrum. I'm not entirely sure if these idiot soldiers had mutilated the specimen before they had brought it into our lab as a juvenile prank or the fact that they are coincidently 'armless'. Subject 7 had to be muzzled as well as strapped to the bed to keep her from inflating. A moderate dosage of oxcarbazepine was used to calm the subject but had done its job for a mere hour before it had reverted back into its struggle pangs. Please notify Red level to send in stronger depressants."

"Subject 7's larynx as well as her lungs had blistered & blemished its way to becoming visibly exposed. Her lower jaws had also split in two just so it is convenient for her to inhale a large quantity of air. The blistered throat of hers also inflates until it has grown to the size of jumbo beach ball. Upon contraction she has been witnessed to force air through a pressurised chamber in a modified voice box. Through this she bellies out a high pitched scream that I had never imagined possible to come out of a normal human being, so powerful she almost shattered the ballistic glass casing of her cell. It was because of this Subject 7 always has to have her throat & chest strapped tight with durable restraints only given enough air to breathe."

"Test Log 13. Cleaning Subject 7's cell isn't he most easiest job as she is constantly drooling copious amounts of saliva & sweat but it has to be done. But like a fool I had entrusted Yellow level staff to take care of this. Not only that but I honestly believe that they are new. An objective where one must loosen the restraints to apply solvent F to keep the subject from decaying had almost went into sheer disaster when Subject 7 had knocked over the young cleaner to the ground & managed to inflate herself large enough to screech out a non lethal cry for help. But it was also because of this, new data had come into play. Her cry for help had the other subjects particularly the commoners worked up. Interestingly the sound had also invoked an aggressive state in common infected turning them incredibly violent, possibly awakening a dormant or latent state in the green plague present in the commoners."

Gender - Male
Class - Support
Genetic / Biochemical Influence - LSD abuse
Powers & Abilities - Mesmerising & hypnotising Survivors
Distinct Sounds - Unearthly panting accompanied by serpentine rattling & hissing
Other names - Hypnotisers, Cobras, Eye-ballers, Hippy freaks, Acid freaks, Trippers, Explorers club (Group of Gazers)

TLC Patches:
- Gazers appearance had been modified to resemble heavy users of LSD. Example having less clothes worn due to elevated body temperature & near malnourished physiology.
- Gazers have switched from being an ambush class to support class.
- Due to their class switch they have become more of a frail ranged enemy.
- To suit Support class their attacks now have 3 forms of mesmerising:
1) Flash - A short ranged burst flash used on Survivors who are too close. This is more of a has a stun than a mesmerise, allowing it to retreat.
2) Projectile - A homing attack that follows the Survivor for 5 seconds. Has a moderate chance of successfully Hypnotising the Target.
3) Beam - A dangerous attack that lasts for 7 seconds. Slows Survivors eventually as well as instantly hypnotises them.
- Contact lenses are a new equipment worn by Survivors making them immune to their glares.

A victim outcome under the influence of illicit hallucinogenic, maybe even possibly designer, drugs particularly LSD or Ecstasy. The influence shares a bonding strain with the evolved outbreak pathogen we now call as the Green plague."

"Subject 21 seems to have an elevated body temperature over 98.6°F to a staggering 106.5. Even for the average human being with a fever just over 100.4°F would be dangerous. Also upon studying the heart rate of Subject 21, he seems to suffer an Atrial fibrillation where the standard heartbeat had ascended to an abnormal 205 BPM."

"Test Log #40. An altercation with Subject 21 resulted in the death of private Nathan Gosford where a nesting operation had a fatal error. Video feeds 2 - 3 had shown that Subject 21 had projected a faint light from his holding cell the moment private Gosford had set eyes on the Subject. Like a moth to flame the private seemed to have lost motor control & had unknowingly marched himself towards Subject 21. Though by the time help had arrived the unfortunate soldier had his jugular viciously mauled from him. We had no choice but to terminate Subject 21. A reminder has been sent to Red level to reinforce the cell suited for Special Infected of the Gazer variety with a reciprocal mirror having a standard 3.5 inch thickness, polycarbonate layer just so an incident like this doesn't happen again. That I am honestly tired loosing & finding new subjects."

"After closer examination upon dissection, I've noticed a teal green cavitation build up present within the vitreous body of Subject 21's eye. A semi crystallised residue that seem to be the source of it's seemingly 'supernatural' ability to mesmerise it's target. Although within high temperature this residue returns to a thin liquid state. As I studied this substance I had noticed that the plague had merged with this fluid. In theory I presume that Subject 21 harnesses this fluid in a heightened state of body temperature causing the residue to evaporate & cast out as a thin vaporous spray that can be visible in the bending of light. The vapour itself has no effect the target until light is refracted. In another study where a layer of skin covers the cornea, enabling light to be reflected back like a mirror. Mimicking how tapetum lucidium is present in predatory animals."

THE SHOCKER

Gender - Male
Class - Support
Genetic / Biochemical Influence - Abnormal neurological disorders, Erratic seizures, Possibly Tourettes.
Powers & Abilities - Bio electrical manipulation, Electromagnetic interference.
Distinct Sounds - Murmurs & undistinguishable chatters usually accompanied by a buzzing sound.
Other names - Sparkies, Tasers, Hypers, Twitchers.

TLC Patches:
- Shockers are now blind due to an outgrowth of blisters, boils & sores. These blemishes also cover majority of their right shoulder & lower arm.
- Though blind they detect Survivors through weak electrical currents through when moving.
- The Shocker's brain is now exposed.
- The Blisters & brain of the Shocker glows white indicating they are fully charged with electricity.
- Shockers now have a new attack in addition their electrical surge. Lightning strike is a special ability that takes up an entire 60 second charge. The
Shocker volleys an electrical orb into the sky & casts it down on a targeted Survivor, stunning them a full 6 seconds as well as damaging them significantly.
- Rubber insulating clothes armour Survivors from their electrical attacks. Decreasing damage & negating stun.

Cerebral palsy, Tourettes or even Tardive Dyskinsia, whatever it is the root influence comes back to erratic brain wave anomalies. They also seem to be the victims of institutionalised psychiatric wards where some specimens previous to this one had come back with broken headgear & restraints on their wrists."

"At first glance, blisters & sores cover the Specimen on his right arm & almost entirely his face. I immediately came to the conclusion that Subject 10 is blind. However he knew of my presence in the room as I surveyed him, as I readied my equipment his expressions followed my every movement on the other side. In sharks & some species of fish, they are able to detect weak electrical signals in prey using specialised electro sensory organs. If this is in the case of Subject 10 then this will be a splendorous collection in data that 'I' had discovered."

"Soldiers are told to wear insulation suits laced with high grade rubber when handling Subject 10. I had also witnessed that upon relocating to his new cell a slight electrical disturbance was present fizzing out the lights, interfering with the coms & even temporarily cutting off power in our computers before rebooting shortly after. I am yet to hear from Red level awaiting to what in the hell are they going to do about this daunting issue.

"Though cruel it is completely mandatory that we acquire new data for every new Special Infected, particularly ones that are members infected by the green plague. Lately we had a trials experimentation where we had sent special operatives Kayn & Abhel to gain us new information on Subject 10 to whatever means necessary. I had gathered after the operatives provocation towards the specimen that the source of the Special Infected's ability comes from its brain. Through feeling threatened the Subjects Brain becomes supercharged with bioelectrical energy causing it to visibly glow with such intensity. In addition to this the blisters & pustules that swarm the subject also becomes visibly charged. It was at this moment the Subject proceeded to defend itself by firing a powerful surge of unequal bioelectrical energy channelling it through its cortex, through its arms & finally through its 3 pronged digits. Like a biological electroshock weapon. Unfortunately the brothers received casualties during this experimentation. Special Operations member Kayn's chest & the left side of his face had been singed by an arc burn whereas his brother severely paralysed Ahbel putting him out of commission until further notice. But on the bright side I attained new data that will surely piss off Rikesh when I show this to Deborah. Hell this may even land me a place in Red level.
