EDIT: Cross Fate is now on Indie DB! Check it out! [link]Here are some concepts for the Cross Fate Project.
1. The Focus Beam. Very difficult to master, and still hard to strike with, but it deals tremendous damage to its targets.
2. The Saw. This thing Shreds giant robots. Literally.
3. The Longsword. Simple, heavy, massive. And equally as effective.
4. The Beam Saber. Also a classic. This thing is fast and powerful. It'll slice through a mech as if it were butter.
Well I hope you guys enjoyed the little preview. I've designed about 100 weapons for Cross fate so far, and 4 is a very small number. There will be more to come as I get permission to share them.

I saw the focus beam and immediately thought this was a No More Heroes fan idea. XD Β Still, these are awesome, and the fact that the chainsaw thing actually looks doable only makes it fifty times more awesome.

It's possible I wouldn't have guessed that, but it wasn't until recently that I got into the idea behind No More Heroes and watched the playthrough of No More Heroes 2 by Two Best Friends. Β I have yet to play the game myself, and I doubt my family would approve of me having such a game in the house (our wii is in the family room), but I can't deny I love the concept as well as the blade designs.

XD Saws have always had a high success rate. Hell Gears of war is entirely built around the fact that Saws are downright awesome.

Hellz yeah, chainsword! Just like the Imperium from Warhammer 40K!
And the focus boom is like the anti-ship swords from Gundam SEED, kinda I guess.

The focus beam was based off of No More Heroes' Blood Berry (badass sword) but there are a few swords from Gundam that have a similar structure.
I've never gotten into Warhammer. Maybe I should?

Look at the two designs again. It is only shaped like it but beyond that they have heavy changes of design to the overall weapon.
