Are you saying deviant art should only accept family friendly art. It is correctly marked as mature content. Just because something has sexual content in it does not mean it can't be art.
Theres even a some porn thats done with the art in mind. Not a lot since the stuff thats just about sex sells better but it can be about the art.

I am not saying that DeviantArt should just put "family friendly art".
However, my opinion is that the line between artistic nude and pornography is pretty thin, and I personally think that this photo just crossed that line.
However I do think it is a very nice shot, with nice colors and a really good composition.

I don't think they have to be artistic nudes OR pornography. They can be BOTH, so I don't think its thin at all I think its more blurred. Theres a fair bit of porn that focuses on the loving connection between a couple, something thats clearly going to be difficult to capture with actors. Sadly porn which is there to convey an emotion does not get watched much since most people are just watching for the sex.
Theres often a lot of emotion in the intimacy between a couple and it makes for good art. Ok so this image was solo. I'm just trying to convey my point here.

This is porn. It's artistic porn, but it's still porn. There is a line that can be crossed, and this is clearly on the other side of that line. It is most definitely not all just "blurred".
Personally, I have nothing against nude art or porn. More than that, this is a privately funded and maintained website and the people that are in charge should be able to allow or disallow whatever they want. They should be able to set their own standards, and if they're cool with this being on DA, then it's their call.
Tibura obviously has an idea of some standard she perceives DA has or should have that would filter out porn from the rest of its content. That's not the same as advocating "family friendly only" material.
In contrast, you're kind of irrational here. On the one hand you say you don't like to encourage overly sexualized images here on DA, at least in part because your little sister uses this site (another issue altogether). On the other, you defended this being here because it's marked as "mature content". So, what's the deal? If something's marked as mature content there's no standard for whether it should be here or not? Or, should "overly sexualized images" be filtered out? If a "mature content" label is good enough to qualify its presence, then what difference does it make as to how sexualized the material is?
