How about you try adding some perspective on this? I mean, when you look at the car from the right side using this, it will look distorted.
The car is at an angle, so should your painting be. ._.

Its the way you worded it. Im sure everyone in here tries the best they can based on THEIR skill otherwise they wouldnt post the work. AND im sure that most people are always trying to learn and grow in their work and are happy to receive constructive tips and hints...but those who give those tips and hints have to be careful how they word it and yours was demoralising and put down his work. If you cant be sensitive about it...dont bother making a comment.

Thats exactly my point....whether you intend it to be a positive influence or not.....more often than not, such a comment does more bad than good to an artists morale. Just put yourself in this position. Tell me you wouldnt be upset if someone made a comment like that on one of your pieces. I bet you would. Simple as that. Just be more mindful of others sensitivity.....thats all.

And negative feedback is all I used to get, which is what led me to strive to be the best, and eventually become the best amongst my peers.

Lol.....it just made me so mad when I read his comment. The kid is like 14 years old and all he has in his gallery are entries in the car comp...nothing else. Seemed to me he was jealous of David's work and decided to be rude about it. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr at kids who have no respect.

yes i was reading it through and realized that David doesnt know this conversation took place on his pic! sssheesh kids today think they know it all, which they dont, this kid should stick to doing art and making friends !!
