Description
I have created a brand new fusion between two personas of Eddie the Head when two worlds collided, bringing the death and resurrection of the Blaze Bayley albums. This idea popped into my head when thinking of another Iron Maiden drawing, and then I thought of looking at The X Factor and Virtual XI which the two albums themselves are vocalised by Blaze Bayley during the darkest era in history for Iron Maiden. I extract this opportunity to make this concept that involve an upper-body of Eddie emerging from the cross to virtual reality. While drawing the cover itself I was crucial to adding colouring and textures towards his carcass and turned out gorgeously gruesome; nevertheless, the background also reflected well to emphasise the different worlds that Eddie lives within time and space.
