I have some ideas for Niffty of what her life could’ve been life before death and why she ended up in Hell.

* Naomi was a girl who’s family or one of her folks were Japanese immigrants coming to the US for a better life, especially after the events of WW2 and the atomic bomb. They lived in an apartment close to the suburbs, Naomi hoped she could’ve someday lived in.

* They struggled financially so her parents were both in work, her father a typical business man and her mom, a part-time seamstress, hence were Naomi learned her sew work from. She and her mom were close. Her mom sadly died when she was young, making her already busy father become cold and distant, even take up drinking from grief. Because of this he was barely around a lot for Naomi, so she ended up having to care of herself and the house, which tended to have bug problems. Her mother's passing and her father's distant nature had a huge impact on Naomi, especially with her desire for love.

* She was emotionally neglected and found comfort in the 50′s “American Dream”, finding a husband that will love her and start a happy American style family in the Suburbs. She didn’t know much of her Japanese heritage due to her mother dead, her father distant aswell as the American environment. She faced prejudice because of her Japanese roots.

* Was bullied in her school days for her Japanese Heritage and financial situation, and was a hopeless romantic for all the teen boys around her, hoping one of them would reciprocate and be her dream love. So much to the point she became obsessive to please others, especially men. Which usually ended up with her being taken advantage of. She didn’t have many friends growing up and usually wrote in her diary about her daily life and stuff.

* Didn’t have the highest grades. She was great though in Home EC, where she could learn things such as cooking to help her be a future housewife and take care of her future home and family. She also had a part-time job at a malt shop, who many of the teen boys sweet talked her into buying some for them and their dates.

* She also had an interest in fashion. Enjoyed drawing cute outfits and seeing the latest trends on TV and Magazines. Though felt it could only be a hobby and not a career for her, she felt she wasn’t talented enough to be one as well as thought it’d get in the way of her becoming the ideal wife.

* When she wasn’t busy with school or work, she liked to clean, draw, write little love stories, read romance novels, do gardening, knitting, watch sitcoms like “Leave It To Beaver”, cooking show, tips for housewives, romance genre and especially Vox’s TV Show(Even had a crush for him and fantasized being a guest and marrying him), cook and sew. She even sewn some of her own clothes.

* After graduation, she became a cook/maid for a hotel like she is now. And that’s when she met him…

* He was the Manager’s son who’d be taking over the Hotel when his father retires. He was one of the kindest people ever in her life. He said things like her being pretty and liked how she always wanted to help. He called her “a nifty gal”. It was love at first sight, well for Naomi atleast.

* But…he was already seeing someone. A high-class gal who’s pops was in relations with his. She was rather stuck up and looked down on the staff, especially Naomi. The staff, especially Naomi didn’t like her and she was filled with jealousy.

* The more the girlfriend was around, the more resentment filled in Naomi. She felt someone like his girlfriend wasn’t good enough to be with him, that he deserved someone better. Though she felt she just couldn’t be that someone etheir.

* Then the news came out. They were going to get married. Naomi was DEVASTATED to say the least. As she tried to come to terms with everything. The girlfriend now Fiancée met her privately. Not only was she aware of Naomi liking “her man”, she told Naomi he would’ve never liked a “Poor Little Yellow Insect” like her and would be having her fired once she married him and gets the hotel and everything else.

* That’s when Naomi SNAPPED! Taking scissors from a nearby sewing table, she stabbed the fiancée in bloody rage, too overcome by anger and pain. By the time she came back to her senses, the fiancée was dead. She panicked, unsure of what to do. It was too late to save her now and if she confessed she’d not only be at risk for life in prison or even a death sentence, but how the love of her life would react. With no time to waste, she took what was left of the fiancée, cleaned up her mess and hid the remains in one of the walls of a damaged room.

* When they couldn’t find her the next day, Police were called looking head to toe for the fiancée. During this time, Naomi comforted her despairing crush, grateful for her support. This makes Naomi hopeful. She may have killed someone but she wanted to use him, it was for his own good, or so that’s what she made herself believe. Now that the fiancée she could be the one for him and live happily ever after. She just needed to make sure she’d never be caught.

* Been about a week since the search, the best guess they had was that she had second thoughts and ran off from the marriage. The staff were questioned, Naomi was in a tight spot, the body had her DNA on it and soon would start to smell throughout the hotel and be found. She had to get rid of the remains for good. That’s when she remembers the hotel’s furnace. She took the remains when no one’s paying attention to her or so she thinks and sneaked into the basement to get rid of the evidence. Just as she was ready to throw the remains into the fire, she turned and saw him…

* He noticed her sneaking off with a bag into the basement, which begins to leak blood, with some insects picking at it. He realized what happened. What Naomi did. Naomi tried to explain herself, that’s it not what he thinks, she was only thinking of him but he didn’t want to hear it and punched her in anger in of one of her eyes hard enough, making it bloodshot and says his fiancée was right about her, calling her a “monster”. She was shattered.

* Before she could say anything else, the rest of the staff and cops hearing the yelling in the basement, also come down to see the truth of what happened to the woman and the killer. The police shoot her on the spot, making her fall into the furnace instead, reaching out for her crush, who only stared back with horror and disgust.

* Naomi’s life was exterminated like an unwanted pest, a germ, a monster. Now she lives as Niffty, the Hazbin Hotel’s cook/maid. Will she find love there?
