Description
In the Unnatural World, small bands of squirrel-sized hobgoblins roam the woods of Europe, from Portugal all the way to Istanbul.
These pint-sized omnivores scamper through the underbrush, using their massive noses to sniff out delectable treats, and their equally massive ears to listen for danger.
Should a hobgoblin feel threatened, they use magic to escape- specifically, teleportation. With a sharp crack and puff of mist, the hobgoblin vanishes, instantly re-appearing anywhere from thirty to sixty feet away.

I'm quite happy with this piece, as I've been struggling to bring these little guys to life for several years. In general I do poorly with small critters, but if I just use my brain and, say, bring them close to the viewer then it's like they're big anyway. Definitely makes me want to sketch more of the creatures from my low-fantasy world.
