Anubis
While Iām no genius when it comes to Egyptian mythology, bear with me, as Iām taking my own spin on it.
As the guardian of the dead, Anubi reside near the final resting places of powerful pharaohs and watch over their bodies as they rest. Those attempting to rob graves under the gaze of these creatures are said to be stolen away and turned into a mummy, serving only to guard the tomb for eternity, alongside the Anubis.
