Description
Inspired by two of my favorite artists, Celso Mathias and Boris Vallejo. The former is a Brazillian artist whose fantasy works are a big inspiration for me and that I love. The latter, for those of you who are fans of fantasy art, needs no explanation. The "Old Masters" of the Renaissance like Michelangelo, DaVinci and the like, need a similar lack of elaboration. Suffice it to say that if Fantasy art had "Old Masters", Boris Vallejo would unquestionably stand among them.

In any case, this is what popped into my head one day while thinking about them and I put it to paper. Like Nessus rising out of Hell, fighting all the way through to the fresh air above. The girl decided to hitch a ride after seeing her centaur fried in battle. Seldom does she see a man (horse or otherwise) possessing a large, powerful weapon and the skills to use it.
