Description This is a drawing of a half-human-half-plant all-female eternally young fantasy race I have created, called the wanderers. I am going to do stuff with these in the future...

A big thank you to for making an awesome tutorial that really helped me out when I was making this...

The wanderers is a nomadic people, primarily found in Scandinavia, but there is some of the wanderers caravans roaming north america. Being a race of plant-human hybrids, they seek to do as little harm as possible to their forest homes, and they spend the spring, summer and autumm traveling restlessly in between their many shrines and temples, hidden deep within the forest. They are a people of isolationists and pacifist, seeking only little contact with the outside world, but if they are forced to war, they'll make use of powerful plant-beast hybrids and guerilla tactics to bring their foes to their knees.

The wanderers is masters of camouflage, and by using their rootlike feets they can easily climp up a tall tree in no time. The hands are semilarly to the feets, and is very good at holding on to stuff as their weapons, or branches when they are climping. Their hair is always made up of leaves, but the kind of leaves varies from wanderer to wanderer. The wanderers is also know for their regeneration abillities, allowing them too heal a severe wound in almost no time, as long as the are close to a large amount of trees. Most of them has also flowers growing out of their heads, which sends out a sweet alluring smell, but as shown on the picture, not all wanderers has this feature. Also not shown on this picture the wanderers have holes in their backs, much like the holes in a rotten three. When a new wanderer is "born", they don't have their hole yet, but as they live through their long livespand,  the hole continues to grow, until the hole coveres the most of their backs, which is normally around the age of 800. From that point of they may call themselves for elders.

The wanderers have several ways to multiply. The most commonly used is the lure flower. Appearing as a really large pink flower, it send out an alluring smel, luring any humans closer. When the human come enough, the flower catches him/her with its long vines, and starts to pull him/her into the flower. Here the human is ripped for any clothing and forcedfeed with its sweet, drugging nectar, as the pentals of the flower closes. Five to seven days later the flower opens again, and out she comes as a newborn wanderer. She still has the most of the memories of her past, but as she now is more attuned to the natural magical energies of the forest, she does not want to ever leave, and as time pass those memories fades more and more away, until she completely forgets she was ever human.

Each wanderer caravan is leaded by a matriarch, who is in charges of planning the caravans movement for the season, so the caravan can visit as many shrines and conversion spots as possible. the matriarchs are the highest member of the wanderers society, only below to the high queen.  High queen Helene is the supreme leader the wanderers, and is governmenting the only one of the wanderers sanctuaries that is inhabited all year around, know as kloeftedalen. The wanderers has many sanctuaries spreed across the lands, but they are abandonet the most of the year, only inhabited during the winter.

you made a very particular design from what I was expecting. You also provided a rather large story.

well actually there is more to their background than was I have written here, like more of how their society works and other ways for them to transform people...

but what do you mean with a very particular design... that part confuses me
