Decided that I would go over how I draw my mermaids, trying to establish a general design, and to be honest I am very happy with how it turned out.
Technicly a Mermay Drawing, but for me every month is Mermay.

I wanted her to have a bit of a scavenger feel, like she used things she had found in the ocean to make her clothes and tools rather than making her own. Her cloth might originally having been part of a ship's sail, the tip of her spear being a very sharp crab claw, that short of thing.

Probably will try to do a digital version... and draw more mermaids like this
