He woke immediately to a dull humming sound. As he opened his eyes, he saw a white office that looked straight out of a scifi setting as he sat in a chair.

"...The hell?" he groaned. "What wa-"

She clapped her hands around her mouth immediately, realizing something was wrong as her voiced sounded far more sultry than before. As she instinctively stood up, she noticed her hair seemed much longer, and much darker than before. She also felt a new weight on her chest which, upon further inspection, were indeed boobs.

"Holy shit!" she nearly screamed. She wanted to be confused, but thinking back on events, things seemed to make a lot more sense now. She started regretting her choice of Miranda, she just haphazardly typed it in as it was the first thing that came to mind. She didn't even really know why. She was a fan of Mass Effect, and she was excited for the remakes, but Miranda wasn't even her favorite character. Besides, she'd much rather be Shepard. At least then, she'd have some options when it came to romance, male or female.

Of which.

The door to her office started to open as she instinctively sat in her chair and pretended to do work. As the doors opened, a female Shepard came walking in.

"Ah, Shepard, how may I help you?" Miranda asked, doing a great job at covering up her panic attack.

"We'll bang, okay?"

The room was filled with what could only be described as deafening silence as Miranda and Shepard stared at each other for what felt like an eternity.

"S-sorry." Shepard said, feeling the full force of the embarrassment after that. "I saw this meme and... nevermind, I should go... sorry." She said, trying to recover.

Miranda was still in shock of being put into a game as a character, specifically a female one, and having that "exchange" with commander Shepard. The hero of the galaxy. The one who will save everyone from the reapers. It was going to take some getting used to, to say the least.

But, she did at least find some comfort in knowing that she at least had a dorky Shepard girlfriend to look forward to in this world. It was a bit off from the original games, but she wasn't sure if she really minded it.
