Humming to herself the tall dark doe gathered the fruit underneath the tree and carefully filled them into her pouch. The tree was quite full of them and she was glad to having found it. No doubt she would be able to bring them to good use back home and of course she was glad to having found another specimen to teach Atos about. He was aspiring to become a field medic, which made her very proud as well as give her the urge to teach her youngest son literally everything she knew about foreign plants. Well, better attempt to, but she was quite certain that Atos would do great aiding raiding parties in their dangerous duty one day.
This year she had come with Charon again, Isá couldn’t quite help the feeling of her sweet boy trying his best to not leave her out of his eyes

Feu heard Ingrid gallop away behind him, her hooves soon no longer to be heard. She was a good girl. He would not let this witch corrupt her with her dark words and demonic magic! Not like they had corrupted Spirita and Nyx, not like they had taken Coal away from him! He had promised to Charr, he would make sure that Ingrid was safe and that was what he was going do.
The black witch had fallen, her eyes wide as he came towards her, the fire blocking her way and fear making her unable to move. She was a doe, but that didn’t matter to him. They were all the same, they were all dark, devious creatures full of evil and insidious thoughts! There was no good in them, in none of them! He snorted. The fire would cleanse her and the world that she turned filthy by setting hoof on it. He’d burn her, like a premature demon, because she was no more than that!
Feu inhaled deeply, however before he could spit the flames at the witch, something black came shooting down at him. Rearing with a roar, a fountain of fire left his mouth, while the raven soared around him, clawing at his eyes. He was about to set the beast on fire, when another black shadow came leaping at him, grabbing at his tail and biting so hard, he roared with pain. Spinning around, he first thought it was a lion, but it was black as the night and covered in thick, fluffy fur with burning eyes. A wolf! That was a wolf! What was a wolf doing here? Was the dark witch commanding the animals? He had seen them command creatures, but when he looked the wolf into the eye, he saw the cruel soul of the predator within it, the hunger for blood. This animal was no puppet!
He whipped his tail around to get rid of the creature, igniting a fire on his back and down his tail. The wolf let go, jumping away from the flames. Feu spun around, using his head to ram the canine, sending it flying into the bushes with a yelp. Filthy hellion!
The golden stag spun around once more, the doe still where she had fallen, still paralyzed with fear, staring through wide is. “No more games.” He snorted, about to charge at her, when suddenly what he saw made him scout to a halt, eyes wide as he watched…what by the Five was this? An enormous black monster came jumping through the flames! It looked like a stag, but he was larger than any stag Feu had ever seen before! Black as the night and huge as a mountain with black eyes burning in cold, unforgiving rage.
The stag rammed Feu like a boulder, the golden stag having to use all his strength to stay on his feet as they came chest to chest. Once the momentum left the black beast, Feu however managed to push him back, snapping down at his legs to get him out of balance and with another powerful shove the huge stag fell to the ground with a mighty thud. What wicked Blackwood monster was this? Feu hardly cared, all he knew was that he needed to get rid of it, alongside that witch of a doe!
“May the sacred fire of the Five cleanse you, demons!” he roared, but just as he wanted to drown them in flames, he suddenly could move no longer! A silent gasp escaped the stag. What was happening! His body would not obey him, his mind would not obey him! He couldn’t move! He couldn’t think! All he could do was stare helplessly at the black stag, while he returned to his feet, staring into his eyes that were pitch black abysses, Feu feeling like he was falling into them and there was no ground anywhere. Just falling. Falling into the darkness of the stag’s eyes.
”Filthy heathen. Dirty, insolent, pathetic creature.” the stag hissed, his voice sending shivers down Feu’s spine as he came closer, his unblinking eyes not leaving Feu’s, ”You dare to threaten a daughter of Ùir, you dare to hurt a sacred being, you dare to attempt to kill a mother. My mother!” the stag snorted and as he spoke a terrible realisation began to dawn on Feu. What had he done?
”Malicious, abominable creature! You shall atone for what you did! You shall suffer! I curse you! I curse you and your false ideals! You shall be hideous, hideous to the eyes of those you force your awry believes on! You shall be as ugly and despicable on the outside as you’re on the inside!” he hissed, ”Forever shunned and hated by those superficial heathens you would kill innocent souls for, unless you find a true heart of gold to love you! Now run. Run, you pathetic beast. Run and hide. RUUUUN!” the stag roared and Feu could do nothing, but obey. He ran, he ran, he didn’t know where, he just ran, until he collapsed and everything went black.
