Thanks Chris, it is a lovely feature. It's on the second floor, in the master bedroom. It was the senior partner's office when the building was a solicitor's office. There is a small wrought iron balcony outside it, which is what can be seen in the lower part of the picture.

Yes, it's a sash window, Chris. That's our biggest one - it's almost 3 metres tall. (We have a 5.3 metre tall window but that one's not a sash.)
The views from it are lovely, there are probably some in my gallery but I may take a couple more - if time allows.
