During one of their brief stops after departing their scorched territory, Buckwheat tends to keep on his paws, whether it be idly patrolling, quietly checking in on his packmates, and hunting what little he's able... Often more than he can eat, if he has the appetite for it at all, but he's always adamant on ensuring his packmates are at the least satiated somewhat.

So one day, when he catches a rabbit, Dahlia manages to find herself in his line of sight. Little did he know he'd find himself in hers, too.
