Alister's the biggest reason why I'm such a huge fan of Ghost Town. :'D his paintings and art style are so distinct and colorful. It just makes me really happy to look, and it's what got me interested in traditional art.

This influence also has a lot to do with my love of traditional art, and after finding Peter on youtube, I've been adding a lot of abstract patterns and zentangles to my art. Doing stuff like that with a bit of repetition and flow is really relaxing for me. uwu

By Cartoonnetwork I mean an umbrella of cartoons such as Over The Garden Wall, Steven Universe, Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, etc etc
I just really love animation <3 it's so fun and cute and creative
I guess Cartoon Hangover kinda falls under here too

At this point, I've really become rather detached from anime/Japanese influences, but I still have quite a few. Miwashiba is a mangaka and has created three games with really cute pixel graphics. :3 My favorite one is Alice Mare because of the beautiful dialogue and story and the character designs. The vintage, pastel purple tones set in really well <3

Dr. Seuss
Because picture books are cute, I love whimsical crap, and he invented the word nerd

Tim Burton
I enjoy the edgy strangeness to his artstyle, and most artists I follow are also inspired by Tim Burton. Those early claymation movies fill me with a lot of love too <3
My older art style showed more influence from him, but that same essence is still around, I guess.

Flowers
They're one of the things in nature that are normally really colorful in comparison to the usual earthy tones of the world. uwu Flowers and plants make me really happy too; they smell nice and they're so diverse. I just think anywhere with lots of flowers is instant aesthetic, heehe. c:

Studio Ghibli
Miyazaki is a genius <3 the scenery and designs in all of his movies inspire me a lot. I'm really attracted to clutter and a lot of detail like in Arietty or Howl's Moving Castle and their home environment
Calcifer is a cutie and I want him as a plushie :I

A handful of my oc's are my instruments and even my bag as human versions of their-selves :'D
plus I have a lot of colorful yarn laying around and I always reuse my old clothes to make new stuffs
