I took this close up shot of this mannequin at Bloomingdale's department store in New York City as I wanted to get a more detailed look of her face which I think is really very lovely. I also took a full length one of her as well which I will upload at another time. This department store has become one of my favorite places to go because the sales people don't bother me and It is still the one area that I could go and find some very pretty mannequin models of which I am sure you all know by now is my favorite hobby. Most of these older models are displayed right on the last floor too. I really do like their retro look especially the long black hair and the heavy lashes like they used to wear back then when this style of make up was most awesome. This one sort of looks like Cher to me. Anyway I thought it was fitting to give her this kind of background I chose as it all blends in so nicely and I am sort of on this retro kick lately too. This ha that late 60's\70's Retro look. certainly catches the eye and those green and white stripe perspective lines are very hypnotic. scroll up and down on the cursor and those lines move in the picture. i love long flat smooth hair. very attractive too. perfect art and photography here.

Thanks Brendan I spent some time this evening listening to a lot of the music. I saw the one CD with you face on it too. I have to say I really did enjoy some of this music because it is different from the usual stuff I listen to so I did not mind listening to the tracks at all. It must of been very exciting . I'm happy you listened to the music. yes, when i was in the band i focused my songwriting mainly on the the late 60's to early 70's. i sang vocals on several of those songs or me and the lead guitarist would harmonize together. the Drummer would join in too on occasion. what music do you normally listen too? I don't play in the band anymore Melissa - even though we played well together i never liked the Ego within the band.

I personally haven't got any video's Melissa but i do know there are some floating around somewhere. if i find any video's from gig's then i'll let you know. i'm glad you listened to the old band i was in. 60's, 70's and some 80's music to me was the best decades for songwriting. i love writing songs.

Thanks Melissa, it's something i was always good, writing Rock music. time passes and to be honest, i wish the band was around back in the late 60's early 70's. i'm not a fan of the music industry today..this is why i never continued. i'm always writing songs though. and still work in a local recording studio.

It's just to plastic today, lots of pretty boys prancing around singing the same lyrics to more or less, 'identical songs'. I think music and songwriting has taken a backseat really. it's more about fashion, celebrity, face-lifts, i mean the Female performers now, are more or less Pole Dancers, they barely wear anything and i'm not a great fan of this depressive Rock or soft rock by the likes of Coldplay..even Ed Sheeran annoys the hell out of me..lol..joke, i don't get annoyed really i just think Songwriting is too synthetic and contrived these days..Oh well, maybe that's the sign of the times...everything must pass or change Melissa... i'm working on a bunch of new songs in studio Melissa, i got many songs catalogued or shelved, maybe one day, Music will become Great again like the Golden times and my music will become..em fashionable !hahaha ! but i'm not holding my breath !

Especially the rap music. It all sounds the same. I hear what your saying. Unfortunately some of us don't want to change with the times either Branden. I am a creature of habit. But I will tell you one group I did like a lot was Moby. But I think anyone that can write music is really brilliant. Not everyone can so that is a special talent. You sound like you really got your head together and know what you like. Every once in a while I do hear something I like. I listen to Pandora a lot and Slacker too because I can listen to the type of music I remember and a lot of those songs will never die. Do you listen to anything online?

Oh that's so true my dear Melissa, Rap is not what it used to be. Ah yes, Moby was ok,I come from a family of Musicians but i just have an ear for writing Classic Rock music. It's a simple process i go through. listen to lots of great songs written by some fine song writers and without plagiarising try and replicate a song equal to the one i'm listening too. Well, i'm the same a you, every once in a while a new band will come along and i'll be Quite impressed. Now, Recently i did Discover a new-ish Band Called, Greta Van Fleet, This band is quite awesome because they sound just like Led Zeppelin. the Lead singer has a vocal range, equal too Robert Plant, he sounds just like him in actual fact - that's one band and another band i like, is Django Django, i don't usually listen to their genre of music but the Vocal harmonies they do on some of their songs are quite fantastic, and the music itself is quite catchy and quirky.

Oh Led Zeppelin was awesome and the "song remains the same " was such an excellent CD. I did not like too much of Robert Plants music when he was went on his own I liked him better with the band. I will check out the group your were speaking of are they on Youtube? You would make an excellent critic when it comes to music

Ah yes,'song remains the Same' Album was some of their best Works, with the likes of, The Rain Song, Dazed and Confused, Whole Lotta love and Stairway to heaven, if i recall, Physical Graffiti had some Fantastic tracks on that album, one of my Favourites is 'Kashmir'. oh i agree with you, i never liked his solo work either. Yes check them out on YouTube. i mean, Greta Van Fleet sound almost identical to Led, but Django Django are more Art Rock - progressive Rock and that electronic rock element, not what i usually listen too but they just have this certain Appeal. Aww thank you Melissa you're too kind. do you like 70's progressive Rock? like, 'Yes' ?
