"Hill 77. Kriff, do I remember that day. Besides the endless blanket of blasterfire, the quickly diminishing cover we sought refuge in and the increasing number of wounded, I'd have to say the scene that stuck out the most was the Commander. The man was PISSED- OFF- to high heaven due to a lag in our advance. Now don't get me wrong, it's not like he was indifferent to his troops falling all around him- he was infuriated because not enough of THEIR troops were biting it. Sergeant Kel even heard from the officers that Commander Hawke was rather partial to the enemy's fortified position- claiming it had a 'nice view'. So while we were dodging and weaving from cover, the man non-nonchalantly stood from cover, pistol in hand, and turned to address us in the most aggressive and planet-shattering growl. I shab you not, his words were..."

"Needless to say, we took the hill- but that wasn't enough. The Commander ordered us to construct effigies of the enemy forces at the summit for all to see and broadcasted on an open channel that the 77th would not accept any form of surrender from them. He then proceeded to berate and chaff for the next hour, enough to the point where the orbital fleet requested radio silence as it began to bleed into even encrypted frequencies. We penned a name for his speech, but I can't quite recall....what was it....oh- that's right, how'd I forget?"
