Description
So here's something new for a change. As always I've got about 5 projects on the go at the same time. This project got finished first because it's a project of passion - I freaking love RX7sThe base is a screenshot from Need For Speed Carbon. The style is supposed to be similar to that of the classic cell-shading racing game Auto Modellista but with a more updated look.
100% Photoshop Scalable Vector. Enjoy.
[26th November 06] Reuploaded image with slightly softer outline. Turns out i had two layers with the stroke setting so they were multiplying the edge into a mess.

Oh boy! I really wanna know where you find this great modded cars. I've tried desktopmachine, seriouswheels, AND dieselstation. They have some good ones, but nowhere near as sweet looking as the ones you manage to find.

I spend a LOT of time searching for great pics. This one is a bit different as it was originally a screenshot from Need For Speed Carbon. I've got loads of photos that i've wanted to toon but never got around to, i might post up a few in a journal for people to use.

RX7! that's my favorite car as well, in terms of design. it's good to see you back in car vectoring.
I like the simple vector. it's very good.

looks cool...but...the rear passenger tire looks tilted...?

You can do that, giving a tire negative camber if your always taking it sideways, it ensures you have grip if need be (when you go sideways or turn fast the tire tends to lean naturally one way and so this angular tire thing fixes the problem haha)

muy bien! I love AutoModellista! I really like this. YOu can see a few jaggies but allswell. And I like the tread detail on the tires... but that muffler looks kinda odd for some reason.
But what am I bitching about... I have yet to release any kind of (finished)vector.

Thanks man, Auto Modellista ftw! Yeah i was a bit gutted about the jagged edges, i think that's down to the stroke blending option i used: it isn't quite as neat as a classic path stroke. The muffler wasn't the original which is why it looks a bit naff.
Chop chop with your vectors, looking forward to seeing them.
