Description

Backstory:

Kid from Unova grew up helping out around the daycare owned by their mama's family, and occasionally travelling with their mom when she went to help do field ecology research in various regions. They loved pokémon but for whenever someone suggested that they become a trainer or that they should at least have a pokémon partner for safety even if they hated battles they would always deflect. Instead of going on a traditional journey when they turned ten they instead opted to help various professors with their research similar to how their mom did. Often they would be lent pokémon from whatever lab they were helping out but a lot of the time they're sole strategy for getting through tall grass was "run fast", this was the strategy they were using when they ran into an injured Glace, who they then helped recover. Glace realized this dumb human child who saved them was running around without any pokémon to protect them and decided that this was unacceptable and started following them around to try to protect them from other wild pokémon. Eventually Wren actually "caught" her and now they're practically inseparable.

Personality:

  They can be slow to warm up to new people and are fairly quiet when they're not fully comfortable, this leads to many people who don't know them very well to believe that they are a quiet person, anyone who knows them well will assure you that this isn't really the case. Once they are comfortable around someone they will happily chatter on about whatever their current hyperfixation is or any of their various interests, and will happily provide random factoids about pokémon, nature, mythology, and occasionally technology when prompted.

They are neutral good Jock/Nerd with high int and low wis.

They CAN beat you in a fight but they WILL feel bad about it. They may not be able to beat you in a pokémon battle.

-They've got two moms, one of them (who they refer to as Mama) works at the pokémon daycare in unova, the other is a pokémon ranger (Who they refer to as Mom) who helps with pokémon field research

               -Mama's actual name is Jacklyn and her Partner is a Kangaskhan named "Mama"

                     -Her wife is named Silvia and has a Stoutland named Stanley as her partner.

  -They can understand pokémon. nobody realizes this because they tend to talk to pokémon in ways that like, they could understand what their saying, or they could just be guessing

      --Or at least when they're around people, when it's just them they tend to be more relaxed and have different speaking patterns because of it.

      --They also don't realize that this is weird, since they grew up around lots of people who were very knowledgeable about pokémon, and therefore very good at figuring out what they wanted/needed.

        --Also they just never really questioned it.

  -They have semi-strong opinions on which pokémon treats are the best and yes this is based on their opinion and they did actually eat them. though I'm guessing pokéblock and pokébeans were the only ones that would be too surprising for.

  -They can, should, and WILL punch Ghetsis.

-West the Riolu, Jolly nature
