When i first saw a photo of Elli on my Luna Lovegood Wannabe forum over a year and a half ago, i was stunned! She looked so much like Luna it was crazy. I was really upset she was Swedish and therefore unable to audition as i think she would have done brilliantly.Whilst cruising through my old documents i came across her picture again, and thought 'why not combine Elli with my new found love for PS?' So using her face as a base, i painted Luna and this is the final result. It didn't take too long either, only 2 1/2 hours.

Hehe, yeah i'm actually really happy that Evanna is Irish, it brings a special little spark to the character, have you heard her speak? Her accent is brilliant!

But she totally deserved to be cast...she loves Harry Potter! Which I think is good, because some of the girls who wanted to be in the "His Dark Materials" movie hadn't even read the book...

Its heartbreaking, but it happens. The fact that Evanna is such a huge fan means that she will really put her heard into the character, and portray Luna as best she can.
