OMG/WTF!!! D8< IS THAT FREAKIN' TRANSFORMERS FANART?! Why, YES IT IS, LAWL!
Okay, so when I was on the brink of art block, several things happened:
1) I watched Transformers for the nth time--AND LOVED IT STILL.
2) I went on DA and saw this: [link]
3) Then I saw this: [link]
4) Then my brain said, "HOLY CRAP, you should do some Transformers worship, too!"
5) BUT, since I can't do anything cool like this ([link] ), I had to settle with something simpler. So, BEHOLD--BumbleBee in DWEE vision! *D* These are mostly silly doodles, lol.
Anywho, HAZZAH! 'Tis my first line-art done on OC! I'm also trying to color a bit of this, but-but I'm not finished yet...;_; I miss Elements. Seriously, all you OC users have my respect and admiration.
And, if I still have your attention--MOAR HAZZAH-NESS!!

Other people said it was just a bunch of pretty effects and no story...

I know what you mean about that. Even though I thoroughly enjoyed the movie (lyke...to the max MAX...), I also heard through a friend that real transformers fans were surprised about some of the characters chosen for the movie. In the older animated series, Bumblebee doesn't exactly have as big a role in the military troop as he appears to have in the movie...BUT I LUFF HIM ANYWAY!!!
And admittedly, Optimus Prime sounded a little thickheaded to me when he thought the last resort to save the planet from doom was to put the All-Spark into his own chest. Whut. MEGATRON would still be around, yah know...but, again, I LUFF HIM ANYWAYYY!!

I am on such a Transformers high, even after so many months of its release in theaters. My favorite characters from the movie are Bumblebee & Optimus Prime--though I have come to love them alllll. I cannot wait for the sequel to come out. *D*
