Was "thirst" the one with SILAS (AKA breakdown with a human brain) was a dark energon infested energy vampire? Knockout wasn't very smart then. He should have known the synth-en was incomplete. Or at least tested it with dark energon first.

Yeah, "Thirst" was the zombie vampire plague via Cylas (as he dubbed himself when in Breakdown's body). He didn't give 3 shits about Silas/Cylas, hence why he was already testing Synth-En on him, but then Screamer came along and was all like "I CAN SCIENCE! GIVE HIM THE DARK ENERGON!" in retaliation to Megatron demoting him from "Full second in command" to "Only military second in command...science second in command is Shockwave yo"

That's where this story spawned. The idea that Megatron decided to give Starscream his duties back but in response giving Shockwave all the cheif medical officer ones because he was still annoyed at Knock Out for the crazy zombie shit.
