Chapter 3 - Time and Space

When Loki was in the bathroom you got up and made yourself some breakfast and coffee and sighed as you put your forehead to the cold granite counter top and held the warm mug in your hands. Damn it, you thought, my life was more of a lie than I thought it was. You squeeze the mug with your finger tip and you break ten holes in the mug.
"Fuck!" You hissed under your breath and you chuck the cup at a near by wall and collapse on the ground crying, you wondered if Loki heard the mug shatter against the wall, but then you didn't care.
--LOKI'S POV--
As I turned off the water I heard something crash and, guessing from the sound, shatter. I wrapped the towel around my waist and came out quietly. Where's (y/n)? I wondered, no I shouldn't care just because she was the sister of my childhood friend doesn't mean I should care! I knew coming back down to earth to look for her was a bad idea, but her mother was ill and Thor told me if I could find her and didn't bring her back, he'd banish me to what was left of- No! Stop thinking about it! It won't help anything thinking where I might end up at. I scanned the room with my eyes until I saw the mug on the ground and I sighed.
"Go away, Loki... I don't want to talk to you..." She muttered between sniffs, she has defiantly been on this mortal world for too long, she's acting like a weak Midgaurdian, but she's more than tha- Why do I keep doing this!? Making her out to be better than she might be? It's like I have faith in her or- oh no, no no no, damn.
"(Y/n), what happened?" I tried to use my nicest softest voice, damn that was not as easy as I hoped, and everything went downhill from there.
--READER POV--
"Nothing, I got upset..." You pull your knees up to you chest and hide your face in your arms, then you realised, Loki was only wearing a towel and you blushed.
"Why are you on the ground? Can I help you up?" You could tell he was trying to be nice and he held out his free hand, the other hand holding the towel in place. You nod and grab his hand and you accidentally pull him down onto you causing your lips to lock. After a few seconds, Loki pulled away still holding the towel with one hand and the other hand was by the side of your face against the cabinet you were leaning against he was so close you could feel his cool breath on your skin. He cleared his throat and you blush realising you were staring at him and he stands up and helps you up.
"Do you need some clothes to wear?" He nods and you lead him to your dad's room and go through the drawers hand him the smallest shirt and pair of pants and go through your dads closet until you find an unopened package of underwear and toss it on the bed.
"I'll, uh, leave you to it..." You leave and go clean up the broken mug on the ground and sigh. Time and space, huh? You think wondering what that means.
