Lowering his head and flattening back his ears to make his lithe frame even more aerodynamic, Alkyne charges along the beaten dirt track at full speed. There's a primal focus in his grey eyes - a look that is exclusive to a predator on the hunt - as he follows the strange scent of an Imp he does not recognise. The vicious Pine tracks down his quarry with a single-minded focus...until the smell becomes muddled, masked by a far stronger, more pungent odour. He comes to a screeching halt, his hooves digging into the ground.

It's a large carcass - one that might have been a deer, or a wildcat, or even an Imp of some sort. It appears to have been here for quite a while. Gross!
