Well. Long time no see eh?
Here's a picture of my Aerith cosplay I made for Otakuthon 2014 (August 22-24)
I really had a blast there!
At first, I thought that my costume would really look shitty, but finally it ended up as being one of my most liked cosplays.
People kept complimenting me and asking me questions about my wig! haha~
Sadly I don't have any decent full body shot because I didn't have the time to go take a photoshoot appointment. Thing is... I was taking care of my brothers and their friend. ....They're teenagers and it's a lot more work to take care of than what I thought X_x

But well even though times were a bit problematic because of them, I still had a great time! (although I made clear I don't want to take care for the 3 of them next time; it's too much! HAHA)

For the costume info:
The red coat was the hardest to make because of all the weird seams xD I'd even have to begin it all over because in the end the back isn't equal. ¬_¬
The dress itself went quite well although I'd have to make it tighter a bit.
The wig is a Jeannie from Arda Wig. For the bangs I used the tutorials on youtube from Malindachan for the gravity defying bangs, and also for the added hairline! (You can also check out her dA, she has some Aerith picture with better results than mine because i'm a beginner with wigs xD)
I'd also have to redo the side hair, since I learned how to make natural curls after the con xD I used so much spray net on them, they're super hard LOL!

For those who wonder if they should a Jeannie for their Aerith cosplay. It depends on what you want.
Personally I love it even though it's bulkier at the top of the braid since it's a clip, the length is nicer than the Jasmine. (Although Jasmine would be perfect for smaller girls? I'm 5'7) If you don't mind the length, then you might want to go with the Jasmine!
