I remember these two so well! I kinda wish Disney would work with Basil more, and I kinda wish I was still caught up with Stilton, but there are just so many spin-offs and stuff now, it's kind of impossible. Is the series even still going?

Well, here we go with the spin-offs. Thea Stilton (which isn't much of a pain in the ass compared to what am I about to say), Cavemice, Heromice, Spacemice, Micekings (which all four of these are straight busta IMO, as in having the same cast, only made into some variant, which makes me want to not read any of those) and Creepela von Cacklefur (meh). The Kingdom of Fantasy doesn't really count as one, but it's with Blossom asking Geronimo to save the kingdom, which, like I said, straight busta.
Oh, speaking of the main series, the main series is still going... but it kinda started to go downhill with all those with burglary, mystery, sabotage, and robbery, which made it felt a little close towards repetitive. To be honest, I had been keeping up towards the main series for some good idea for my fanfic.
(SPOILER ALERT: #61 have Sally calling the Rodents' Gazette's finanaces a busta, forcing him to sell his house, then got his house back. #62 also have Sally trying to fuck sabotage the trip, #63 have the Shadow (Sally's cousin) trying to fuck infect the mices in NMC and #63 have the Shadow again, like fuck the plot already!)
This gives me another reason why I started making a series dedicated towards the antagonist, Sally Ratmousen, but I don't think anyone will like it anyways because the titular character... well... use a good amount of profanities. I might put it up here, but this could be a little overpowering.
But in honesty, Geronimo Stilton was a good series; can't afford to see the series gone bad like millions of maggots swarming a dead animal. Once I get to check out #64, I hope it's not anything that I have expected; not the Shadow fucking trying to steal the ruby. #65... well, another robbery. If I see another burglary theme in #66, FUCKING forget about it. Time to probably make Sally Ratmousen popular among adults; no way you will have it on Scholastic, eh?

Wow, that is a lot. Sounds like they're really running out of ideas. That sucks.
I started wondering if that was happening when they started releasing the spinoffs. I even thought that might be happening when they got to number 20, because that one was awful imo.

Kinda? Although of course the art is still pretty much pleasing. And also added bonus that you don't really need to read them from first one to the latest to probably get a sense of the plot since the plots are usually separate most of the time.
Heck, gotta sleep now, but then again it doesn't matter much by then. I am also running low on ideas as well.

I've always read books of Geronimo Stilton whenever there is a new release in the bookstore, I kept on reading despite I'm beyond the age range. And the movie is the first movie I watched the first time my house got a cable for the first time. Seeing these two together is like a dream come true.
