it needs a more extreme coffee table flip. its just to gentle. try the flame hair and tail. with steam out the nose. that would be an awesome coffee table flip. and try adding in one more column with a gentle glow of the horn, and then the rage after the table appeared. that would be awesome. also the shading is kinda throwing me off a little bit. i can quite tell where the light is coming from. but every thing is amazing very very good show. and twilight looks twilightlious. and thank you for taking in my opinion. i like it a lot.

Vision: What we're looking at is a rather typical example of what drove the plot forward in "Feeling Pinkie Keen". As was the case then, we have someone who thinks that she's methodical clashing with someone who won't explain how she does all those weird things. The result is that the more rigid one loses her composure.
Originality: It might be an old joke but given the humorous nature of the piece, old seems to fit.
Technique: The artwork and the closing sight gag both help sell the premise: "Twilight blows her stack because Pinkie succeeds by being random when she failed by being what she only thinks is being methodical."
Impact: The in-strip impact is another letter to Celestia about how the ponies are crazy and are driving her to drink. The real world impact is me laughing a bit at someone silly's expense.

hi hi
On the subject of originality, what sets this apart for me is that Twilight had to stop and plan the method she was going to use to lose her composure. I think you're right that the old joke still fits either way, but it was a nice little twist.

That does fit with what we've seen in the series.

Wrong, wrong, wrong, Twilight.ย You were supposed to conjure a sledgehammer and bash her in the head until her head pops like an over-ripened melon.

She tried that.
The hammer's head just accordion-ed into itself and made squeaky noises.
The eldritch entity known as Pinkamena Diane Pie projects a protective bubble of cartoon physics around itself, for comedic purposes.

I think she learned that from Rarity, what with her drama couch always standing-by.

In the actual show, Pinkie Pie always finds books when Twilight Sparkle can't. So, in this comic, she's getting tired of Pinkie knowing where all the books are.
