Description
When I'm stressed.Stressed over homework,
Stressed over family,
Stressed over boys,
Stressed over friends,
Stressed over money,
Stressed over time,
Just stressed.
It's all those little things you never notice,
It's all those little habits,
It's all those little things i never realize i do,
that scare me.
How i clench my teeth so tight my jaws get sore.
How i open scabs, or irritate cuts,
So that they sting just a little.
How i bite the inside of my lower lip until it's raw,
just to bite something with all my strength.
How i scratch my palms, or the back of my neck, or my wrists.
just for the raw tingling that runs down my spine.
How i slide my finger up and down the razor edge of my textbook page,
practically praying for a papercut.
How i rest the weight of my hand onto the tip of a pencil,
so that the tip digs into my skin.
I don't have to be intentional anymore.
It just happens.
My subconscious wants it,
My body craves it,
My mind resists.
But it's as if everything i do comes down to one thing.
I'm addicted to the cutt.
