Description
This is my most popular tutorial to date. By request, here is the basic idea of how I painted the brick in "Solace ". The mere painting of the bricks is very intuitive and random. The messier it is, the better...to a point, of course. But, I threw in a few other techniques, like the corner shadows, the light beam, and the use of channel masks, so that the tutorial would be a little more informative overall. Unfortunately, I have no idea how well these techniques will translate into other versions of Photoshop or other digital programs. I hope they're not too terribly different.
