This is one of the greatest games i played, Golden Axe.
its old, but its still great! (and i just heard they are coming with a brand new sequel)
those guys are the playable characters in there Tyris Flare (girl with fire) Ax Battler (guy with the big sword) and Gilius Thunderhead (Dwarf with battle axe)

The upcoming sequel by Sega is called "Golden Axe: Beast Riders," and it's set to come out sometime in 2008 (hopefully) on the PS3 & Xbox 360.
Great 2D artwork of the original 3 "Golden Axe" Warriors! Great poses & facial expressions! Nice use of color, too!

ok cool! thats whats its called, beast riders. thing is, only 1 character, what happened to all 3 guys? i missed them... (kinda know that gilian is "done for" in Axe 2)

"Golden Axe: Beast Rider" is going to be an Action-RPG, so it may be a 1-Player game.
However, I read somewhere that the 3 original characters: Gilius Thunderhead, Ax Battler, and Tyris Flare, will all be returning in this 3D outing.
At this point, I don't know if the game will have any multiplayer action.

Never been a fan of the series, but I've played all the games.. man, that makes me a fan!

Golden Axe, to be exact, since now, its still pretty tough, i can't even get through normal level properly, and if played easy, they say "play normal for the real ending".
well, even if i suck in Golden Axe, i really love the game.

Shame I don't know it :< The earliest games I had access to were only Sega's Sonic and Bomberman lol.. wasn't even miine >o<
Then years passed and I bought a PS2 <3 Oh and a gameboy of course, just to play pokemon XD X3

I like how the characters stand out against the background, makes it very poster-like :3 I hope you're happy with this!

Sega owns Golden Axe, probably didnt see it, but i'll try to make ya remember, there was this beat'em up game, choose either 3 characters, run around and hit these tough enemies (well unless you can find a weak point, which is a pit, you can just move and barely touch the pit, and all the enemies will fall down inside)
