I have a dumb question...have you ever done any graphic design (the area I'm most curious about is logos)?

That's not dumb! Generally I've just designed YouTube banners, sometimes following specific instructions or taking a few creative liberties. A few seldom times I've been asked to create logos, too. Here's some example below:

Just curious, I've always wondered. Are the sprites made as an asset you can use for certain games or just an art style?

They can be used in games, primarily intended for Enterbrain's RPG Maker series. These use the XP (large) and VX (small) character models, which I pixel and customize per request / reference!

I'm extremely new to this commission stuff. With that being said, I'm considering buying one in the near future! But how do I pay for them? Is there a link Im missing? Or?

Oh, no worries! Personally, I use both PayPal and deviantART Points.
For PayPal, all you need is a PayPal account / e-mail of your own. Payments through PayPal are pretty direct, all you need is each other's e-mail addresses and of course the proper funds in your account in order to send. The website is: www.paypal.com/fi/webapps/mpp/… And deviantART Points are sent through this page: www.deviantart.com/account/poi…

I may require this service in the future. I am still debating. Could you, however, please enlighten me on what drawing tablet (or device if not a tablet) and drawing/coloring program(s) you use to create your works? If you do not wish to share this information publicly, I completely understand, or if you just don't want to post it in your comments, please shoot me a PM. Your reply will actually benefit me much more than you know.

It's totally fine! I draw by hand; sketching in pencil then inking with Copic Multiliner. I scan it, then edit and color on Photoshop CS5. Here's a visual of the process: orig09.deviantart.net/d464/f/2…

Thank you very much, sorry for the late reply. I've never heard of Copic Multiliner, I'll have to look it up, I think that'll be the missing link I've been needing! Again, thank you very much, and keep up the good work!

Thanks! The black outline definitely pops out more, I think the colored lines work better for "cute" type of drawings. It's nice to try once in a while, so I figured to make it an option, despite being more time-consuming to create. And thank you so much, I've been so glad that you and your friends enjoyed my work!

Your commissions seem a little costly if you don't mind me saying.

Speaking in terms of the real world, they're not.
I put forth my maximum effort into each drawing, which can often take multiple hours depending on the piece. I also establish high communication with the buyer so that they get exactly what they want. The art isn't priced based on a wide-scale view, it's fully customized for an individual to enjoy or use as they please. It's also based on the amount of time I spend drawing, the quality of the art itself, and the knowledge I've accumulated over the years to create said art.
If an individual can't afford these prices or don't feel it's worth it, that's fine. But lowering prices to fall below the actual time, quality, and knowledge only hurts an artist in the end. Not to mention, hurts the market for fellow artists as well.
