I only just now noticed which hand you're holding the pencil in. Is that just a creative choice, or are you actually left handed?

Just an aesthetic choice, I am right handed

I really like how you draw your own character holding a pen. It look really nice you know that. I really your own character. My friend, I have a character look like you is holding a pen. You Know that. But actually is I really like your own character. It look very cute. I love itβ™₯β™₯, I wish I can draw my own character too.

Hmm I really like that you are definitely building towards a defined look so that if anyone was to ever see a drawing they could be like yeah that be a Leggy drawing or no that's something else.Β  The shading style along with the large/pronounced feet and hands seem to be your thing.Β  And the sharper legs and arms could cause the eyes to look more towards a specific point such as the mouth or heart, much like train tracks going off into the distance, so doing so consistently could really be a cool addition to your style.Β  I think art is a lot like the individual in that we're always striving to find those specifics that really set us apart from the rest.Β  The similarities are the easiest to find.Β  Your character has 2 legs, 2 hands, 2 eyes, etc but it's the consistent differences that'll set you apart from the rest and create a unique brand.Β  I bet if you really figure out what you want those differences to be and prefect them, you'll be happier with what you create.Β  Lol or I could just be talking out my ass cause I have had a bit of the rum tonight and I'm feeling like what the law would say is less than sober

Weirdly enough, "style" is so often looked down on in the art world. Well, maybe that's not the best way to put it, but basically any time someone seems to have a unique style and they and/or fans claim it as such, people in art communities are always so quick to say "You're not special! Nothing is original!! You can't copyright a style!!!" So basically any time I hear someone say otherwise, it really means a lot to me. So thanks!

lol well I can always tell your pics from others.Β  You definitely have a way of drawing that's unique.Β  I think it's weird that people would say something like that; I play a lot of music and yeah there's only so many notes and combination of notes and yet almost every band that makes it big does so cause they have a little something that makes them stand out as unique.Β  Like you could just listen to a few bars of a song and be like oh yeah, that's Incubus or Nirvana or Sublime.Β  I'm not sure why people that draw and animate would saw the opposite is true of their medium?Β  Oh well I loves your style so thanks for all the work you put into it!

That means a lot to hear! I may have been over exaggerating making it sound like the entirety of art communities snub "styles", but the ones I've ever been involved in just really seemed hoighty toighty about the whole subject. ...if I can be blunt, basically people who like to take a little too much inspiration from others vehemently claim "No one can be original". Take that as you will >_>

Hmm, sounds like they might just be trying to justify their lack of creativity.Β  I really think there's a fine like a great creator walks between homage and original.Β  Like your earlier videos were definitely inspired by the games you loved, but the art style was completely yours.Β  And while it might have lacked complexity to the point that it might have looked like many others just because you were so new to animation and drawing, the concepts were all you, the spin you put on everything was all you, and the humor was all yours, which is what, I believe, really built up that initial following.Β  And now that your art has evolved, yeah there's still some aspects of it that will always come from others, since we all will mimic our parents, peers, and teachers to a certain degree, but there's definitely a lot about it that shows it's unique.Β  Lol the people that just complain and point out stuff like that are just wasting there time.Β  Instead of being negative, they should just be creating their own style.Β  Hopefully you don't let their negative comments affect you too much and you just keep on creating content you feel satisfied with once you decide to share it with the rest of us

To me it looks as though you've gained a lot more confidence in your work and know what da hell you doin', even. The limbs look more natural and your highlights/shadows look lovely. If you really want nit-picking I would say the line weight needs some ever so slight adjusting. With your shirt I think the lines for the collar need to be a bit more bold considering that seam is much thicker contrasted to the seams along the bottom of the sleeves and torso of the shirt. Overall, compared to previous works this is a massive improvement and I'm so glad you're gaining strides in your work again along with challenging yourself c:

Yo yee, thank you! I was definitely in a funk for a while, but for whatever reason once I finished the last video and experimented with some chibi drawings, I perked right back up and was able to get into it again. And I see what you mean with the collar, that'd be a simple fix!

If I really had to nitpick one little thing, then maybe that your neck looks a bit too thin, but it's not as noticeable as with your 2012 drawingΒ Β
