The uselesness of the body builders craft is akin to the mental agility of little practical application enjoyed by the 'idiot savant'. To have our form shaped though, by the obsessions that we undertake, is to create a wonderful landscape to explore. To enjoy the naked form as art is to grow beyond the human desires we feel. upper dark portion of the photo were
both much darker.
black instead of grey.
i'd prefer a tighter crop as well.
that's just me. i love details and don't
really see the need for all the space there.

recognition as 'art' as it deserves. but i am

youwzaaa... now that is HOT... tho i must admit, i am not a big fan of that type of bodies, but what you've done with it is fantastic! i love this composition best of all, with the lighting and greyish tones. i love that he takes up just that one corner of the image and everything else is empty space. his shadow is cool and not cool at the same time... i like it there, but i also think it would be interesting to not have it there, so i am hopelessly undecided on that one. but the work is brilliant. i like!

WOOHOO...Now that is the Doug I know. Truly amazing. It works really well...as if he just slipped into the frame. The shadows are probably the best out of the three. I think I can see every yummy ripple in his abs. Truly great shot...From the lighting to the composition. Even if I could think of a negative here, it would be a lie. You do amazing things with a camera, and I am still jealous as all hell...
