yes - I would say our subsets overlap ( and I have a mental buffer zone to separate myself from the tween- age anime little darlings - Β thatΒ
keep DA afloat with their little cutesy - wootsy unicorns and rainbows that pull down more page- views than there are people in Canada
-- but even among our little tip of the DA iceburg ( Β Sub-Set Land Β ) -- Morandi is still something of a little known anachronism . Still - you know him - and that's a plus !

DA is an eclectic environment but there is still room for stratification and crystallization ... thru comments and notes, thus reserving some surpeises from time to time

MAGNIFICENT. It remindes me of Mervyn Peake's fantasy novels - the Gormenghast series; it seems an image captured within that world. I love it.

It's the monochromatic nature of the beast, and that these bottles have such presence . . . small details writ large which impose their (dead?) ethos upon the viewer.
