The Tree
Smack dab in the middle of and old park near the east urban zone of Isla Kela grows The Tree. The colossal hardwood matches no other species in the world, growing in striking, twisting shapes, with strong and thick bark. In the spring and fall it bears large amounts of strange yellow fruit from blood red blooms, most closely resembling apples and pears in taste and texture. This makes it a popular attraction for herbivores far and wide, as it is a hearty source of easy, nutritious food.

Year by year it grows larger at remarkable speed, shrugging off any damage it takes without effort. It drops no seeds and creates no saplings. What is it, and where did it come from? Much like the rebirth of dinosaurs, it is a mystery that few these days know the answer to.
