Description "Look" Alexa sighed, fear long ago having given way to annoyance, "You've been splashing me with holy water for twenty minutes, I'm NOT --"

"Silence you foul temptress" The bespectacled priest accused between reading a mishmash of scripture, "I shall not fall for you or the brazen baring of your putrid assets"

Alexa narrowed her eyes at the insult, and tried again to free her legs and tail from the bollo, only to get splashed in her chest once again.

"First your the one who started this wet T-shirt contest, second, the only thing your water has banished is my bra!" Alexa added in an odd moment of humor, "I knew that thing was evil..."

Later: The priest was later arrested as a nuisance and bailed out by his church, Alexa had to buy an new bra.

Note: Thinking of shifting things around slightly Satyri are mortals who have been physically transformed into demonic physical forms.(by booby-trapped objects) While LDS refers more to those transformed by demons and have some degree of power.

I blame Google, they recently just went full SJW with that youtube heroes program, *sarcasm* No way can that go wrong and be rife with corruption and abuse. *end sarcasm*

Hero's program?

Xython In reply to DPRagan [2016-09-24 05:02:48 +0000 UTC]

Youtube Heroes, a volunteer moderation program. Β The problem is, those types of programs are ripe for abuse, and Youtube already has a problem with organized mass flagging of people's videos.

The real bad thing was the original video phrased it like....

"Report Negative Content... Β Then once you get to level 3, you can Mass Flag Videos."

The probablem with that is... they recently changed their rules to talk about "negative" videos as being "harassment" -- so if you react to some kid freaking out because someone at starbucks called her a girl when she identifies as A Greygender Demigirl Nonbinary Trans Attack Helecopter on Tuesdays and she doesn't like how you reacted to it, that could be considered against the "bullying and harassment" rules. Β If you're running a news blog and aren't CNN or otherwise big enough to tell Youtube not to bother you, you're in trouble too, because the new rules say you're not allowed to talk about "current events."

But the mass flag thing is the bad one, because it lets said Greygender Demigirl Nonbinary Trans Attack Helecopter, if she should decide to join the Heroes program, police Youtube for anyone who doesn't agree that her special snowflake status is real and throw their entire account off of youtube at will.

Or, as everyone's pointed out, this is going to start a mass flagging war on youtube, with hardcore groups on every side of the political spectrum rushing around mass flagging each other's accounts. Β All because Youtube doesn't want to pay for a team to do the moderation Youtube needs.

Doesn't seem to prevent youtube from hitting fox news on anything. CNN shows something and it is ad friendly, but fox is getting hit like the rest of us, they are disputing it, but Google is taking forever, and some of thr biggest channels will even more the 5million subs are not safe.

And the best part is that you can't dispute or delete the subtitles from a hero if youtube approves of it. At least nothing in the information from the help pages says anything about being able to accept them or reject them.

Yeah, basically they are gamifing the ablity to report people, with if you do a good job working for Google for free, you get the ablity to mass flag people's videos, and rewarded for it, and given how vague the terms of services are now, you can imagine just how to ripe for abuse the system is no now.

Something tells me this Priest might not be a Priest for much longer, I wonder if the title Priestess works better when it happens? I mean we have Shinto priestesses, so why not this one? Given the world.

Yes, but it still makes it possible, the messenger doesn't matter just the message really. Well unless you can come up with some sort of existential idea and get philosophical about it so that it's somehow ends up with people getting their gender switching up again with Redskin Tails horns and a propensity for being completely unable to understand why everyone wears clothes and why they insist you have to wear any.

Who might be a trapped audience if they went in with smooth light to dark skin and walked out with rubbery laytex like red skin in different shades of red or the whole freaking rainbow at the end, i wonder if that happened any in your works?

And I bet there has been a huge trapped audience in one such scenario where we ended up with the whole Skittles bag worth. And I mean pastel Easter colors on top of other ones.

Fun thing I looked at:
lawandthemultiverse.com/2010/1…

This thing is relevant.
"Fascinating! So, if I believe that my next-door-neighbour is the Wicked Witch of the West (not all that difficult to believe), and I throw a bucket of water over her, I’d be guilty of attempted murder?"

"

Again, potentially. The prosecution is going to have to prove that you actually believed that it would be effective, which again, is going to be difficult to get past an insanity defense.

The court may actually decide that the prosecution needs to prove that it was reasonable for you to believe the facts that you did. It’s reasonable to believe that someone is home when they’re actually not, but it’s probably not reasonable–possibly as a matter of law–to believe that someone is a fictional character.

But I doubt it’d get that far, as I don’t see a prosecutor being interested in this case. Even the civil damages would be pretty nominal, and DAs generally have better things to do with their limited time. There are enough actual criminals running around as it is to bother with this stuff."

One problem, you could say you tripped and the bucket flew out of your hands and didn't know the neighbor was there. Wouldn't that just be chocked up to pure no fault accident?
