My only main fanart from the Movie. Rodan looked awesome but Mothra was just pretty. So here is a scene from the novel shortly after Mothra emerged from her cocoon.Related content

Absolutely gorgeous!! The bioluminescence is perfectly done. You also had the right idea drawing her during the evening to emphasize her majestic appearance. I do have a few suggestions, though. Mothra's exoskeleton is in a pose that is more reminiscent of King Kong with how it appears that she is climbing out of the temple; she might look better if she is not standing upright. I also believe that the vegetation behind the grass should have some more detail. My last criticism, and this is a small one, is that the moon looks a little flat. You could expand upon it by having the shine effect encompass the entire sphere or use a lighter gray for the craters. Overall, a great sight!

Firth thing - I would make Mothra be a quiet nearer to eyes. Though wings are one of the most important things, body is important as well.
Second thing, trees around the temple. I would make them more detalized if I was you - they look like hills a bit. As well as more detalized trees' structure behind the leafs.
Third thing, hills behind the temple. I also would make them more detalized by pointing out grass covering them and not just by green colors alongside with lights and shadows.
Anything else is perfect, especially temple and Mothra (especially her wings) themselves, alongside with sky, Moon and leafs on front.

Thank you for the feedback and interest, I tried to differenciate the greens so they didn't blend together so much. May not have done enough.
