I think it is wonderful, but for a different reason. You run out into some third world countries and there are people who are daily laying their life on the line for their christian belief. I know some personally. To me it looks like she's holding on to what she holds dear and is trying to run. see how she's like looking back. but that's just my opinion.

This combination makes me think of ... sex and God and how would people of faith respond to this picture. I study in a colledge where religion is obeyed so I think that many people will be shocked if they see this picture here. ))))

Okay, I'm a "people of faith" and I'd be happy to tell you my reaction to it. First, it's a very beautiful photograph. You and your model have done an outstanding job. Second, I see not incongruity here. God is an incredible artist/creator. He designed the beauty we behold here - it is His design and His book. By the way, He also invented sex and made it pleasurable. The problem with sex comes from misuse and abuse, as with more everything else.
Rather than incongruity or controversy, I see a wonderful belonging in the coupling of religion (God) and beauty. It's hard for me to think of anything more appropriate.

I am glad that you think so. However your reaction is an exception from a rule. What you're saying is true, but most of the feedbacks were rather negative or kinda "oh well...you should not show this to anyone else...".

That doesn't surprise me. I, myself, had to do a lot of soul searching, research, and prayer before I was able to understand this. I came to realize that when we deny the beauty of the human body we are, in essence, saying that God didn't do a very good job designing it. The truth is, it is the crowning jewel of His creation. We should respect it, but we should also appreciate it as it was one of His best gifts to us.

I think thats why i like it so much to be honest - it's very provocative and I love that in art. It's also a nice nude in and off itself whih is hard to do. You've caught your model well.
