Description WHAT A HELL IS GOING ON AROUND US?! Who all this trash-whores and yelling looking the same guys? Why  Justin Bieber and rap fans wearing NIRVANA and Old Shool T-shirts, and they are not even know who are they?! I see full of identical empty "rock" bands on TV and Radio... Why? Because It is become fashionable, dammit.
" OMG you Don't have a tattoo, piercing, whore-clothes and ugly hairstyle? you are not rocker!" Oh great! But Excuse me, do you know something more than AC/DC and Asking Alexandria?
When all this expensive clothes and trends becomes more important than soul, feelings and friendship, you know?!

If you want to kill  Rock, it is enough to make it popular. Then he would lose all value and meaning.  Become a house and rock will kill himself, as many old fashion pop bands  kill themselves every year....

well In fact, I do not care about private life of every person. I think it should remain private. If this is away from me and not oppress me or puts pressure on me and my opinion, I take it normally. But apparently when I became older, I have more and more mixed feelings about all this trends in the world, Europe especially. However, this is purely my opinion, in any case I did not want to offend anyone.
Sorry if I hurt your feelings. You are right, It's too sharply expressed.

sad, but true.
when i wear a MCR shirt to school, many of the 'emos' think i'm just a stupid poser (cus i dont wear all black and be sad all the fucking time), when really the poser is the one who dresses like a sad goth clown!! i freaking hate it! And from what i have observed, 'emo's are just prep kids wearing black!
it fucking pisses me off!!
**but i'm glad to find someone who has the same taste in music as me, tho

well I think it's cycle. Such as metal in the 80s. He was also very popular, but then slept and normalized. Apparently now the same trend, I hope everything will be fine. (Now I'm optimistic).
I sincerely hope that this rock will live forever.

Bitch, if you wear Beatles, Nirvana, and Green Day tees, you better know more than just Paul, Kurt ,and Billie Joe. I like to wear the occasional leather and go with a heavy liner when I feel like it. Maybe wear a bandanna and dye my hair red.  I don't dress the way I do or act the way I do to appeal to others. It's more punk to be yourself.  And also, if music really is your life, learn an instrument or two. (vocalist and guitarist 4 lief) Our generation is corrupt and broken because we let the media and society erode us into mindless followers. It's good to know that there are some people still out there with a bit of sanity left in them. You're pretty rad.

Yes,  I saw one screen in Internet:
"Kurt is so ugly! How Bieber could say that he is like this tramp!" Saied Titted girl with Nirvana logo on the top.  Oh what a?! And I realy hate all this trend with photos and Hardcoooor. Why people think that it's cool to photograph beaten bleeding girls or hands or knees?  Or those inverted crosses and the sign of Satan and so on? Previously, they were worn by Goths, Satanists or metalists or horror punks. But still, they know what is it means and they have some reasons to wear it. What now? Every bitch wears such  things, but why? Becouse that "COOOL and so hardcore!" Hell, kill yourself!
Thanks! I feel great with my T-shirt, grey jeanse and red-orange hearcolour, nowadays It's really enave for me, you know.  )))  ahah I really love rock but I can't play on any instruments (maybe I have a curved hands or have no talent, I do not know))) and I sing like a horse) So I don't even try... But with the help of music I had drawn most of my pics., you know ))

Yes! I actually used to have a friend who was like that. She didn't like her situation at home and craved the attention she didn't receive. She basically does whatever she can to get peoples' attention and shock them. She has her hair dyed Rastafarian colors, brags about how she smokes weed, supports Communism and Nazism, believes Hitler was a good man and claims to be a Satanist. She even cuts herself for attention (there's a difference between cutting to basically punish yourself and cutting to get people to notice) She's a Facebook whore too. Constantly posting poorly written "inspiring and tragic" poems, talking about how great her new boyfriend, constantly posting pictures of herself, basically all they cliches that only "popular girls" do on Facebook. She's basically the stereotypical popular girl, but in a different setting. The amount of narcissism set into people's minds now is disgusting. Why can't we just be who we really are and not be judged for it and care for others and not be considered a pansy because of it? There is also no shame in not being able to play an instrument or sing. You tried and that's all that counts. XD There's also the fact that girls dress like 80's glam metal bands. Not sure if that's a good thing...

She is a freak, you know... I don't like such a people. They are just don't want to use their brain! Holy fro, whats wrong with people? Yes, I understand kids who don't know whats going on in real, and they just coping thear idols and trying to be cool (as they think), as I tried to copy Billie Joe...
When I was 15, I didn't know everything about punk rock and music at all, but I thought - if I listen to Green Day, I am a punk mofuck! Green Day was the first band which I startet to love as a fan at all... I started to wear some ridiculous clothes, dyed my hair in red (because my mom would not let me paint it in black, or green), terrible makeup (because I just didn't  know how to do it properly). But when I was ridiculed by people, I became to ashamed of myself, I thought that I would never be accepted by REAL rockers. I thought that if I don't know all rock bands in the world and all their songs, dates, albums and names of members - I am a stupid for others rockers... ahahah what a shame))) I taught this crap as an exam, in case if someday I will in company of real rockers. But at the same time, I still considered myself unworthy of their  attention... ))) Because of this idiotic problems,  I was really odd kid for others ))))) BUT I WAS, now (after some years) I understand all my mistakes (that I was wrong, not a society) and started my live with new page...   all because I started to use my brain, you know ))
But freaks I think will never undastand that they are wrong....

Yea, 70-80's... I believe that when fashion affects on rock - becoming an apocalypse.... because fashion - it's a great heartless market, and when ROCK (the simvol of independence, freedom and individuality) became a fashion for everyone, and every stupid cunt (who even don't like this band and listen to rap) wears NIRVANA and Pink Floyd .... I just starting to barf!

SassyTheGee In reply to dragon-flies [2014-06-13 17:54:47 +0000 UTC]

I had a phase myself. It was awful. Shitty eye makeup, greasy hair, and just bad clothing. Thank god I found my true identity. I wanted to look just like Gerard Way and did all I could to pander to the "emo scene"  because that's where MCR thrived(worst decision I ever made). I like doing things I like, not to impress others (unlike before ;-; ) Certain music always comes with a general look to it. I like fashion. There's nothing wrong with it. I think people just shouldn't dress a certain way just to pander to a specific group (like I did...) I have blue hair (inspired by Billie Joe's from the 90's) and I want to get a few tattoos and maybe a piercing or two. I like that stuff. I also dress like the 50's/60's era had a flower child with the 90's. I get inspired by my role models and put a twist on what they did. I think it's awesome when people get inspired and do their own thing. It's completely different when you do what my old friend did. The one thing I did learn is don't let an obsession go too far. My current obsession is The Beatles and classic rock and just the 60's in general. It takes me a lot of will power not to take it too far. I did let it get out of hand once. I got my hair cut like John Lennon's and I screwed it up and...it wasn't a very good school year for me.

Rock was never meant to go with pop. The music industry combined the two and now we're fucked. The fact that bands like One Direction being considered rock always gets to me. It's basically used to pander to "darker" individuals, meaning these big pop labels are making more money because they now have a bigger audience. With such a large audience, they can get away with overpricing everything they sell and make big bucks. They even fucked with 60's fashion. Like Iggy Azalea's music video Problem. She turned a classy and beautiful thing into something disgusting and trashy. Things need to change .-.

dragon-flies In reply to SassyTheGee [2014-06-16 15:04:50 +0000 UTC]

Yea! You are right. It's important to be rocker for yourself but not for others... but at the same time needs some time for doing experiments (clothes, hair, opinions) to come along to something really cool! ))) Yea, It's a shame sometimes, but it better than doing nothing.
And yea, I actually don't know Iggy Azalea... (seeking photos) holy shit! haha she is like Iggy Pop - always walking half-naked! XD What's wrong with girls singers? Why are many of them suppors style of banal sexuality like "I am a whore, but it's okay, it's so cool! Look at me and men around my ass and jealous!". (By the way, I like the girl from Paramore, because she don't do it (I hope)).

I often buy local magazines (for young teenagers) for cool posters and there are always comes across something like Pink, Ketty Perry and other sugary horror... why they are so nasty? And then the little girls-fans repeats their behavior and becomes a slut in their 14. (sorry if I remind you a furious parent, but lately I've really started to notice in what shit children grows up nowadays).

SassyTheGee In reply to dragon-flies [2014-07-04 05:19:21 +0000 UTC]

This is why we need feminism. When it comes to music, girls have to strut around half naked all the time just to get the light of day. We have to sexualize everything and it's disgusting. You're a slut if you follow the half naked trend, but you're uptight if you cover up. I hate how others will judge you based on what you like to wear (in moderation). Like in the workplace, you can't have colorful hair, tattoos, piercings, etc. I think we need to change our standards in how we view others. I think we're all just to uptight or to loose. We need to calm down and learn how to respect and accept each other for who we really are.
